a member who was advertising an item for sale on this page. The "buyer"
sent a cheque for £3000 more than the sum agreed. The buyer then
contacted the seller and explained that this was a mistake and could
he please cash the cheque and send her the £3000. Needless to
say he didn't fall for it and neither should you. Be warned!

Hurley 24/70 fin keel
GRP sloop, white hull and superstructure, 1973. BMW D12 10hp diesel
engine 1987. Sails: Main, genoa x 2, spinnaker, cruising chute.
Spinnaker pole and Rotastay genoa roller furling. Standing rigging
new 2006. Chainplates also replaced as a precaution.
VHF, Navman fishfinder.
Jackstays on deck, new stanchion bases, recent sail cover and
spray hood, new cooker and batteries x 2, recently replaced, tailor-made
fuel tank, new good quality bilge pump, 25lb anchor replaced 2006,
seacocks, skin fittings and hoses replaced 2005, Forgen wind generator.
Sea toilet in separate
compartment, four berths, standing headroom, small table in saloon,
galley sink, distress flares, fog horn, boat hook, barometer,
clock, radio, jackstays, harness points, two horseshoe life buoys,
fenders, warps, ensign.
Osmosis and damaged

a boat in the Eastern/South eastern regions of England that can
be sailed back once purchased.

She is in very good condition. She has the original Yanmar YSE
12, which was completely overhauled in 1998 and a cylinder head
job with new valves, springs, keepers, and hats has just been

He is asking 22,000 US Dollars and is only selling her because
he is off to start a new adventure in Costa Rica as soon as she
