The Hurley Owners Association advertises the details of vessels in good
faith but cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of this information
nor warrant the condition of the vessels. A buyer should instruct his
agents, or his surveyors, to investigate such details as the buyer desires
note that one of our members who put a Wanted advert on this page
had an e-mail reply from foreign parts inviting him to transfer funds
before the item was dispatched. This was obviously a fraud. He didn't
fall for it, please ensure that you don't either! We also had
a member who was advertising an item for sale on this page. The "buyer"
sent a cheque for £3000 more than the sum agreed. The buyer then
contacted the seller and explained that this was a mistake and could
he please cash the cheque and send her the £3000. Needless to
say he didn't fall for it and neither should you. Be warned!
also seem to be attempts to defraud people who put Wanted adverts on
the site, where the writer claims to have the wanted item but doesn't
refer to it specifically but talks about 'the subject title' or 'the
above subject stated'. They usually claim to be from foreign countries
and the English used is pretty bad. We're not sure how the fraud works,
possibly asking for payment before delivery. Once again be warned!
SALE. HURLEY 30/90
It is with
great regret that after over 20 years in the family we are having
to sell our Hurley 30/90 Peripatetic Plymothian. She is
currently moored in the Marina at Brixham and buyers will have
the option of taking on the mooring. Ideal for long term cruising.

SALE. HURLEY 22: OUTBOARD WELL/LOCKER COVER
GRP with internal
lining moulding in place and Hurley's ubiquitous wood grain effect
beneath clear gelcoat. Two stainless steel strap hinges still
attached and in serviceable condition. The cover itself is not
in pristine condition, with some stress cracking to the gelcoat,
but it is in better condition than many and I can, if required,
take some pictures and e-mail them to interested parties. Give
James Green a ring on 07831 435682 in the first instance to
discuss and provide an e-mail address. Removed from a 1982 SCM-built,
fin keeled H22.
Open to an
offer, with 10% of sale price being donated to HOA BYHH
SALE. HURLEY 22: STEMHEAD FITTING

SALE. HURLEY 22: SET OF CABIN CUSHIONS
of brown vinyl (with contrasting piping) cushions from a 1982
SCM fin keeled H22. The full set is included, together with an
additional in-filling cushion to fit abaft the toilet and complete
the forward double berth. The starboard quarter berth's underside
material has torn slightly over an approx. 200mm (8") length
but this is close to the outboard edge and wouldn't take much
to patch repair and there is a short cut (maybe 4-5" long)
to the underside's fabric near to the foot end of the same cushion.
There is some more natural wear to the underside fabric beneath
the forward inboard corner of the same cushion in the area that
abuts the small rectangular cushion that sits inboard of the table
stowage/locker to starboard side of the cabin.
in-filling panel for the additional cushion to form the forward
double and supporting ledgers are included as well!
to the bulk of the whole set I suggest that the cushions would
need to be collected in person from the Saltash area of SE Cornwall.
o.n.o. (with 10% going to HOA BYHH event budget). Contact: James
